Koskie has done his college from Kwantlen , BC . He is a well experienced and an expert player. He holds the experience of pretty seven long years. Koskie made his debut in Major League on September 9, 1998 . He has played with the Twins team and has established himself in the year 1999 as third player of the team. He batted .300 with a .400 on-base percentage in the year 2000. The next year 2001 he gave the most offensively productive season of his carrier as he hit 26 home hits, made a record of 103 RBI and scored 100 runs.

The Minnesota Twins' 47, selected as the Manitoba Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association's Manitoba Male Athlete of the Year in 2001, has been praised for his defensive work, reliability as a power hitter and his strong and accurate fielding arm. Koskie provided the best combination of power and patience at the plate that measures a player total contribution to the team. In 2001, Koskie was the first Twin in 14 years to reach the 25-plus homer and high RBI mark, and became the first American League third baseman and second third baseman in Major League history with high stolen bases. Koskie has under gone serious injury which took him pretty long time to recover. Unfortunately he was not chosen in the All-Star team. In 2004 he signed a deal with the Blue Jays but in early 2005 he received serious injuries due to which his performance declined as he made a .249 average, with 11 home runs, 36 RBIs and 4 stolen bases in 97 games. In the year 2006 this eminent player was traded by the Blue Jays to the Brewers for pitching prospect Brain Wolfe.
