Prior to Chicago Cubs, Todd has spent his nine years of professional career with Minnesota Twins, Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox. Texas Rangers was the first franchise to provide him a platform as professional baseball player when he was picked up in 51 st round (1316 th overall) of 1991 amateur entry draft (June Regular Phase).
