Damian Miller is a professional baseball player who at present plays with the Milwaukee Brewers. His full name is Damian Donald Miller and is mostly referred by his last name ‘Miller'. Miller was born on October 13, 1969 in La Crosse , Wisconsin . He is a catcher for the Brewers; he is a right-handed player who bats and throws with his right hand. Miller has attended college at Viterbo in La Crosse , Wisconsin . He stands to 6-2 and weighs 190 Ibs. Miller was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 20 th round of the 1990 amateur draft. He made his debut in the major league on August 10, 1997. He played 20 games for the Minnesota Twins in 1997. Miller was a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks from 1998 to 2002. In 2002 he emerged as the National League All-Star. In 2003 he was playing with the Chicago Cubs and in 2004 he became a part of the Oakland Athletics. Miller covers the basics at the plate.

He has occasional pop, very good gap power and the ability to bunt. He possesses strong arms. He was brilliant in the clutch in 2004, hitting .324 with runners in scoring position and an amazing .412 with 17 RBI in 17 at-bats with the bags juiced. Defensively, Miller turned in a Gold Glove-like season, committing just a single error in 751 total chances. Miller returns to his home state of Wisconsin when he signed a free agent contract with the Brewers prior to the 2005 season. Miller and Moeller hit a combined for a .249 batting average with 34 doubles, 16 homers and 65 RBI. This is more of a testament as to how bad NL catchers are offensively than it is that the Brewers' catchers are strong Fantasy picks. Neither is really worth owning in mixed-league play, although Miller is the better Fantasy played overall. The month of September as a really a good one as he gave remarkable performance with .352 batting average. This season was a great one and he said that he felt great towards the end of the season. He is considered as an in-season pickup player.
