Sun-Woo Kim


Sun-Woo Kim is a starting pitcher/relief pitcher for Montreal Expos. Born on September4, 1977 in Inchon, South Korea, Kim stands 6’1” and weighs 185 pounds. He is a right-handed batsman and thrower. Kim attended Korea University and led Korean Jr. National Team to two World Baseball Championships in 1994 and 1995 and also became the youngest player to represent Korea in the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta at 18 years of age. Kim made his major-league debut on 15thJune, 2001. Kim has played two seasons with the Expos where he has made three starts in four appearances in the team. He won at least 10 games for the second straight season and for the fourth time in his career during 2003 season.
